  • Big Climate Fightback – Tree Planting

    To coincide with the COP26 summit in Glasgow this week, each class has been busy planting trees on the school field. We applied to the Woodland Trust last year for their Free Trees For Schools scheme. We received 105 trees to help us create a hedgerow around the perimeter of the field and 30 more trees to plant a small copse close to our outdoor classroom.

  • Carterhatch donation collection!

    Today, saw our Year 6 MPs package our donations for the North Enfield Foodbank.

    They learnt about the process from donation to distribution including how to pack the crates correctly. 

    After collection, the foods will be sorted and expiry dates checked by staff from the foodbank before being distributed to families who use the service.

  • North Enfield Foodbank Donations - Harvest Festival

    North Enfield Foodbank | Helping Local People in Crisis

    We are very grateful for all the donations of food and items sent in for our annual Harvest Festival in support of the North Enfield Foodbank this year. Our Year 6 MPs helped collect the contributions sent in by staff and pupils so it was ready to be collected by the Foodbank.

  • 6 Levete Class Showcase

    Well done to 6 Levete Class for their amazing showcase! The children were incredibly proud to showcase their learning from the start of the year. They showed a wide range of work from across the whole school curriculum. They worked hard to present an impressive range of work which they have completed since our return from the summer break.  Thank you to so many parents and carers who came in to see and celebrate Levete’s learning.

  • Our visit from Breis

    Breis, the rapper, author and poet, visited our school today. All classes attended a fantastic assembly where Breis recited his poems and rapped.  The pupils found him inspiring, humorous and thoroughly enjoyed joining in with his poems.  The day followed with workshops in Year 6 where Breis taught pupils to rap with poetry.  It was an invaluable experience for our pupils.
