Today, Year 4 had a wonderful day outside in our school grounds for their Outdoor Learning Day.
Today, Year 4 Bird Class had the opportunity to visit Epping Forest to support their science learning on habitats, living things and food chains. They were able to learn more about the habitats and living things that are in Epping Forest by exploring the forest and grasslands and collecting mini beasts! Bird class asked lots of inquisitive questions and were fearless in picking up woodlouse, spiders, centipedes and beetles. They even heard the sounds of a woodpecker and saw the bright, green feathers of a parakeet flying to its nest.
Today, Year 3 pupils took part in Outside Learning Day.
Year 6 had a very enjoyable visit to Bletchley Park Museum, home of World War Two British Codebreakers.
This week, 4 Sharman and 4Henson classes had the opportunity to visit Epping Forest to support their learning of the Science topic Animals and their Habitats.
On Monday this week, Helen, our librarians and our School Parliament members cut the ribbon to officially open our new library!
Holocaust Memorial Day is held yearly on 27 January to remember the six million Jewish people who were killed.

We have been thinking about what Respect means and how we show it every day. This is what we’ve come up with.
This week, as part of the Design and Technology Curriculum, Years 4 and 6 studied food science.
Applications were received for the role of librarian prior to interviews taking place on Friday 10 December 2021. They were of a very high standard.
