Yr6 trip to Mandir

Yr6 visit BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir...

On Monday 28th January Year 6 took an exciting trip to Neasden in North West London, to visit the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, as part of their RE topic about Hinduism. During our visit, the children learnt how the Mandir was made, which we will be starting after half term. The children behaved fantastically and showed tremendous enthusiasm and respect during the trip. Thank you so much to all of the helpers who supported on the trip.

Jequane in Simmonds class said,

"The idols of the Hindu gods and goddesses were really impressive!

Sedef in Ennis class said,

"I learnt so much! I thought the Mandir was incredible!"

Selvim in Daley class said,

"I really enjoyed the video and how the Mandir was made! It only took one week for volunteers to lay the foundations!"
